2020: Transfer of IT infrastructure to a cloud

On October 14, 2020 MTS, the Russian company on providing digital, media and telecommunication services announced project implementation on transfer of IT infrastructure of KOLOBOX group, one of suppliers of buses and disks for passenger and light commercial vehicles in Russia, in a cloud of #CloudMTS provider.

On the basis of a cloud of MTS the KOLOBOX online store which is the fast-growing sales channel for the company works. In online store of the company it is possible to order car tires and disks, pressure sensors, oils, rechargeable batteries and other autogoods, to register in services of car service or to get advice.

Cloud computing provided many times faster response to commands in the website and its reliable work in the period of the raised loadings. Transition to cloud capacities allows the company to increase quickly the IT resources necessary for preserving of operability of the website in the conditions of attendance growth.

Due to the continuous work of our business as a key condition of the choice of the IT partner for us there was an operational translation of data in a cloud. Users of the website at the same time resolve the mass of issues in the round-the-clock mode: from selection of buses and disks online, calculations in the calculator and consultations with specialists before payment of purchases, record on car repairs and other services of the current service of cars. Transition to a cloud is a natural step for the companies which develop online sales and for which the high performance of platforms irrespective of loading is important. With respect thereto in the first half of the year 2020 nearly a half of connections#CloudMTS were made by infrastructure services, IaaS. They helped our clients to start digital-projects and to develop online sales, - the director of cloud business of MTS Oleg Motovilov told.

Since 2018 in Nizhny Novgorod the first modular data processing center of MTS based on which are implemented, including, projects for the state and corporate sectors works. For example, possibilities of the Nizhny Novgorod DPC of MTS are involved in project implementation of "the smart city".
