PTKOMM provided with satellite links Federal State Institution "The Main Bureau of Medico-social Examination across the Rostov Region" (GB of ITU). On October 14, 2020 Rostelecom South reported about it. The company connected 19 access points to broadband satellite links. It will allow the citizens living in hardly accessible areas of the region to pass the medico-social examination (ITU) and to receive necessary documents for a disability design.

At the same time a part of canals became the main for "GB of ITU across the Rostov region", and a part performs reserve function — in case of failure of wire lines of communication on one or several sections at any time on them satellite can be involved. Thus, the solution PTKOMM allowed to integrate points of collecting and data processing of "GB of ITU across the Rostov region" into a single infocommunication system and also to increase the level of its reliability.

Thanks to the RTKOMM satellite services specialists and experts of 'GB of ITU across the Rostov region' had the guaranteed opportunity to render services of medico-social examination to citizens who expect a design of disability and receiving with respect thereto necessary measures of social protection in the place of their accommodation. It is one more important step to quality improvement of life of people in remote and hardly accessible regions of our country — the commercial director of RTKOMM Mikhail Mutterperl told.
