2020: Purchase of the rejected masks for 10 million rubles

On October 13, 2020 the Investigation department of Investigative Committee of the Irkutsk region announced criminal proceedings about deliveries of the rejected medical masks to medical institutions of the region.

According to law enforcement agencies, in April, 2020 the individual entrepreneur from Angarsk within the government contract delivered in OGBUZ "Irkutsk station of emergency medical service" a batch of medical masks for the amount about 10 million rubles. The UFSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Irkutsk region found out that the supplier forged documents on masks, and they do not conform to requirements of GOST and actually are rejected. Sources of Interfax specify that it is about the son of the Minister of Health of the region Natalia Ledyaeva.

Medical institutions in Irkutsk bought the rejected masks for 40 million rubles

To the middle of October, 2020 criminal case is investigated on three episodes of the crimes provided by Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("The fraud committed in especially large size"), the Paragraph "and" of Part 2 of Article 238.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("The address of the counterfeited, substandard and unregistered medicines, medical products made by a group of persons by previous concert").

The persons concerning delivery of masks to medical institutions are delayed. The investigation petitions before court for election to the main persons involved in criminal case of a measure of restraint in the form of detention.

On Monday, October 12, the Assistant Secretary Olga Lagunova told Interfax that in the regional Ministry of Health investigators worked. At the same time she noted that the minister is in the workplace. The former adviser to the governor of the Irkutsk region Sergey Shishkin on the page in social network noted that Ledyaeva was interrogated as the witness.

Possibly, it is about clarification of circumstances of deliveries of SIZ and IVL by some firms for the large amount in the spring of this year, affiliated with the minister's son, – it is specified in the message.[1]
