In Russia the service for tracking of animals by means of RFID tags is started

In the middle of October, 2020 it became known of start in Russia of service for tracking of animals by means of RFID tags. It is implemented in an ecosystem of digital services "the. Farming" Rosselkhozbank it is also developed by Aytiproyekt company.

The solution is based on use of RFID tags which mark animals and also installation in all necessary zones of special readers which will recognize a signal at distance to 5 meters. All acquired information comes on the computer of the farmer or to the application in its phone. The technology is safe for people and the cattle, her developers state.

In the Russian Federation the service for tracking of animals by means of RFID tags appeared

Tags and readers allow to control all processes connected with movement, leaving and a power supply of animals, cattle and birds. A system gives the chance to register input time of an animal in a certain zone and an exit from it that allows to define whether it returned from a pasture, to learn meal frequency, to automatically open the necessary gate for certain animals, to automate weighing process.

Besides, a system allows to collect statistics which can be useful to farmers. For example, how many it was consumed a stern and what after that there were yields of milk or what is the time the animal will see off on a pasture.

New service of an ecosystem allows to pass to qualitatively new method of control of animals — the director of the center of development of financial technologies of Rosselkhozbank Elena Baturova says. — Using simple labels or brands, the farmer can identify an animal, but all information on it should be collected and compared in the manual mode. RFID tags allow to automate these processes and to create the electronic document of the accepted international standard in which information will be automatically updated for each animal.[1]
