2022: Sobyanin signed a decree on the commissioning of a robotic archive
In November 2022, the mayor Moscow Sergei Sobyanin signed a decree on the commissioning of a new robotic complex. Glavarchiva
The institution is located in the new Moscow - in the settlement of Voronovskoye. Archival funds are planned to be moved there for storage. For these purposes, 530 thousand special pallets and 4.77 million boxes will be bought.
This cluster, located in the TiNAO (the prefecture of the Trinity and Novomoskovsky administrative districts of Moscow), will become the largest in the country and the largest in Europe among robotic archives. Its area is almost 70 thousand "squares." There it will be possible to store a maximum of 100 million units.
The archive will install an intelligent control system that is based on modern technologies. The search will be carried out robotically. Robotic manipulators and cranes with telescopic forks will also work. The archive will have a reduced oxygen content, which will ensure the safety of all documents that will be stored there.
It is assumed that the commissioning of the new complex will significantly reduce the time for searching and issuing documents from the Moscow Glavarkhiv. Robotization of all processes will allow processing about 300 requests per hour or about 2 thousand calls per day.
As reported on the website of the mayor of Moscow, the possibility of placing city archives in a new repository will free up medical, educational and other social institutions in Moscow from non-core functions for storing archival documents, and use the existing areas for the main activities of institutions.
There will be organized the centralization of the storage of documents of high social significance - confirming the work experience, education, awards, kinship, property rights of Muscovites. In addition, it will be much easier to find the necessary documents - the process of processing, transporting and delivering documents is completely robotic.[1]
2020: Creation of the Glavarchiv robotic archive
On October 19, 2020, it became known about the creation of the first robotic archive in Russia. All work will be performed by automated systems. Human participation will be minimal.
As the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development Anastasia Rakova said, the new archive will ensure maximum preservation of documents. In addition, it will allow to free the social institutions of the capital from the functions of storing archival documents and use the vacated areas for their intended purpose.
Today, the work of city storage facilities is built on the principle of classical shelving storage and manual search, processing, transportation and issuance of archival businesses. The new archive cluster will ensure the maximum preservation of documents that confirm the work experience, education, awards, kinship, property rights of Muscovites, - said Rakova, whose words are quoted on the official website of the mayor of Moscow. |
The project is being implemented at the site in 10 hectares. A giant storage facility is being created, which will contain about 100 million storage units. The area of the building will be 59.6 thousand square meters. m, a building with an area of 11 thousand square meters. m for the archive management center with special zones for receiving the population. During the day, it will be possible to process about 2.4 thousand appeals from citizens and organizations, or 300 requests per hour, said Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations.
An automatic line for searching, loading and unloading documents will be established in the robotic archive. The participation of a person will be required only at the stage of receiving an application and issuing an archival business. The entire process of processing documents, transporting and delivering folders with papers will be implemented by smart mechanisms.[2]
