The JCB payment system started a blockchain platform of identification of clients

On October 19, 2020 it became known that JCB payment system and also Mizuho Bank and Fujitsu company started a blockchain platform for identification of clients. It is expected that development will allow to raise the security level of users at osushchestvleniye of financial transactions.

Hundred employees of the Japanese technology giant Fujitsu take part in four-months testing of functionally compatible system of check of the personality on the basis of a blockchain which "provides safe transactions using confidential information on identifiers of users between the companies and the industries".

In a system "the independent and decentralized technology of exchange of digital identification data", the developed Fujitsu for the purpose of "improvement of management and reliability augmentation of information which is stored at several parties" is used.

It is tested with participation of Mizuho Bank and payment network JCB which are designed "check the mechanisms developed for safe exchange and comparison of the identification information of participants, such as names, addresses and data on employers on a cloud platform".

Participants will freely combine or cipher electronic certificates which they receive from JCB and Mizuho Bank that it is safe and reliable to connect the personal data on the Internet with other enterprises, - Fujitsu explains.

Future JCB, Mizuho Bank and Fujitsu will be engaged in development of the innovation models of service, the most suitable for management of the identification information, irrespective of the industry or the sector.
