2020: Integration of the distribution center of Gulliver into the Fair Sign system

The ConsID company, the Russian developer and integrator of professional IT systems for management of a warehouse, reported on October 20, 2020 ointegration of the distribution center of regional retail network "Gulliver" with the system of marking Fair Sign.

The Gulliver company develops retail chain stores of Gulliver and Victory from more than 250 supermarkets in 14 regions of the Volga and Central federal district of the Russian Federation and has the developed logistic infrastructure. Since 2015 the distribution center of Gulliver of 30,000 sq.m is automated using the warehouse management system ConsID WMS. For years of cooperation the Gulliver company turned into the large regional player and increased twice. The number of employees of a warehouse increased from 25 users up to nearly 200.

Since 2018 ConsID together with Gulliver company develop the integration module ConsID GIS which is used for data transmission about the movement of alcoholic products in the Single state information system (Unified State Automated Information System) from a warehouse management system (WMS).

To conform to requirements of the Russian legislation within the next stage of cooperation additional tuning in ConsID WMS business processes of work with commodity categories "tobacco" was made, "footwear" and "Mercury" and based on the integration module ConsID GIS is implemented transfer data about the movement of the marked products to the Fair Sign system.

A system is customized on end-to-end control of the movement of goods on boxes/blocks/brands. Control begins with goods acceptance on a warehouse when automatically are checked existence of brands in the Fair Sign system, and operators by means of scanning load data on goods into the ConsID WMS system. On completion of processes of acceptance using the module ConsID GIS data transmission through RunRetail corporate information system in Fair Sign is made.

Further control of brands in a warehouse depends on shipment order types (the external/internal partner) and can request scanning of brands or boxes on selection. For complete fixing of the marked goods in WMS at a stage of check there is a scanning of boxes/blocks/brands that allows to record all brands which are shipped from a warehouse. After completion of shipment by means of the module ConsID GIS unloading of data in the Fair Sign system is made. For fall forward of work from the transaction of inventory and movement marked by products in the automatic mode consider the movement of brands without the need for additional scanning.

Integration of the distribution center of Gulliver into the Fair Sign system is made in two months without stopping of work of a warehouse and with preserving of intensity and speed of shipments of goods to shops of network.

The possibility of expansion of functionality of ConsID WMS without difficult and labor-consuming completions allows our customers to react quickly to any changes and to conform to the changing requirements of the Russian legislation. It is one of key lines of ConsID WMS which allows clients to keep up to date without the need for change of WMS with a growth of business and changes in processes.
