Pacific Rim - Agency of technology development of ANO DO ATR Ulyanovsk

The agency of technology development of the Ulyanovsk region – institute of development of processes of acceleration of technology development of economy of the region.

The agency is created in 2018 based on the Center of cluster development. In quality the main objective designated stimulation of process of transformation of economy of the region from industrial model with dominance of the large companies focused on the state order and slowly growing traditional markets to model at which the powerful share in economy of the region will be occupied by the hi-tech small and medium business focused on new, fast-growing export markets, including the markets of the National Technology Initiative (NTI).

Activities

The first direction — "unpacking" of traditional sectors and active involvement of industrial investors – development and disclosure of potential, personnel and scientific and technical production of traditional branches of the economy of the region for other participants of an ecosystem and the market.

The second direction — "packaging" of new commands in project and entrepreneurial commands. Process of formation of new commands in the project companies includes including "manual" assembly of commands, i.e. search and attraction in commands of missing competences (the personnel, the equipment for research and development of new products); information services: monitoring and regular informing commands of startups on world technology trends and key events in their markets for the purpose of maintenance of the proper technology focus.

The third direction — scaling and entry into the markets of the companies of new sectors due to search of industrial partners with the necessary equipment and production capacities at an exit of startups in a stage of serial production; assistance to an entry of the companies into the markets of the state order; creations of platforms with necessary infrastructure and preferential terms for placement of the innovation MSP of new sectors; supports of interaction of the companies of new and traditional sectors, creations of additional financial incentives (privileges, subsidies) for increase in demand of industrial players for products, services, research and development from hi-tech MSP of new sectors
