Spirit unrolled the VideoMost system in VUNTs of academy of N.E. Zhukovsky and Yu.A. Gagarin

2020: VideoMost system implementation

The Russian company Spirit announced on October 22, 2020 that VideoMost was unrolled in VUNTs of academy of N.E. Zhukovsky and Yu.A. Gagarin.

In Military and air academy training of officers-listeners of operational and tactical level of training and also cadets is performed. Also target training of graduateds in a military academy of the foreign states is performed. Educational activity as a part of academy for October, 2020 is conducted by 25 faculties, 115 departments, educational and aviation bases, research centers and other structural divisions. Scientific potential is made by authoritative scientists — among them there are 121 doctor of science and professor, 793 candidates of science, 401 associate professors and the senior research associate.

The server of video conferences VideoMost was used for parallel deployment of two centers of communication for holding meetings of administration and the staff of VUNTs of Academy:

1. With the general access – for all, with a connectivity of external users

2. With limited access – for holding the closed meetings with participation of the persons having access to confidential information

As a result of implementation of VideoMost in communications system of educational institutions all employees get access to HD of a video conferencing, and also to tools for joint work (demonstration of documents, an electronic board, a personal and group chat, loading of materials, holding polls and votes, etc.). At the same time the server is under control of the organization, but not in a cloud, and administration happens only authorized users who can manage the rights and the list of participants of video conferences.

Based on the VideoMost server it is possible in short terms and with the minimum costs for infrastructure to unroll the system of communications not only for communication of administration of schools, higher education institutions, training centers, but also to provide instant access for all students from their user devices – the PC or mobile. At the same time online of occupation there will pass on own VKS the server, risks of spontaneous invasion and violation of educational process thereby are minimized from foreign users as it happens when using cloud services of foreign providers. It is convenient to VideoMost to use as the platform for remote education as it is permanent, so at forced pauses in resident instruction.
