2020: Presentation of the project PTZ cameras Hikvision of the DF series

On October 23, 2020 the Hikvision company announced release of the updated project line of rotary cameras of the DF series with an expanded set of intellectual functions and also the improved technical characteristics. Among key features of a series – function of face recognition and car numbers, tracking of objects on the person (for people) and by number (for vehicles). Engineers of Hikvision also increased the range of detection of objects to 3 kilometers and added a 73-fold optical zoom.

Cameras with "superzoom" are equipped with two lenses that provides wide angle of the overview in 110 ° and the qualitative image at approach. For stabilization of the image the modern GIS function (gyroscopic stabilization of the image) which represents modification of EIS (electronic stabilization of the image) is used. GIS represents a hybrid of two technologies, EIS and OIS (optical stabilization of the image), but without technical shortcomings inherent to them. The camera processor with the GIS function obtains information on vibration of the device from a girosensor (as in OIS), but at the same time there is no decrease in image resolution (that is peculiar when using EIS). Also there is no shading of a frame which usually happens during the OIS function work. Thus GIS provides stabler and qualitative image without loss of important parts. One more additional Auto-Homing function allows to return automatically at random change of provision of a lens it in the preset provision.

PTZ cameras of the DF series use technology of tracking of Auto-tracking 3.0 based on intellectual algorithms which allow the camera "take" and "Vesti" specific parts – a human face, number of the CU. For comparison: the Auto-Tracking technology of first generation takes in a frame any moving objects and objects, the second – the person and/or the CU. Third generation of technology allows to trace in the automatic mode numbers of the CU or the person of people which are entered in the list for reaction that helps, for example, by the search of the person or the CU which are wanted, etc.

The ANPR function in cameras of a DF series supports recognition of car numbers of 84 countries, including Russia, the CIS, the USA, the countries of Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

The line of the PTZ cameras Hikvision is equipped with the patented technology of the company – DarkFighterX which work is constructed based on two video sensors. One of sensors removes the black-and-white image (including IR spectrum) with the high level of brightness, the second sensor – the image in color. Two frames are imposed at each other that provides the bright, color and qualitative image.
