2020: Beginning of testing of the Russian environment of execution of Java

Scientific Research Institute Voskhod On October 27, 2020 announced the beginning of testing the Russian the execution environment Java – Liberica JDK – for the Unified environment of development and also servers applications LiberCat, conforming to the standard Java EE.

Products are developed and tested by the Russian company BellSoft which engineering technical support simplifies communication of developers and allows them to solve quicker the arising problems due to lack of a language barrier and the high level of immersion in technology on both sides.

Unified environment of development — own project of Scientific Research Institute Voskhod which is based on the principles of import substitution and is focused on the free software. The platform provides an optimal solution of standard tasks during creation of different state information systems (access control to data, process management, access isolation, integration, monitoring, etc.), creating unified software and information environment based on microservice architecture. Results of testing of Liberica JDK are expected at the beginning of 2021.

Active use of the Russian technologies during creation of large-scale information solutions for states in general contributes to the development of domestic IT- the industry. Use of the Russian application server with full technical support will significantly simplify operation and will increase security of the state information systems created by our Institute. Besides, it will allow to importozamestit such products as Oracle WebLogic IBM WebSphere, RedHat WildFly and others. As a result we have possibilities for creation and development of independent software products in the environment of Java in the protected execution and according to requirements of the Russian regulators, – the Head of Department of development software of Scientific Research Institute Voskhod Ivan Operchuk noted.
