2020: Opening of DataPro Moscow II

The DataPro company, the independent operator of data processing centers in Russia, announced on November 5, 2020 TAdviser opening of DataPro Moscow II – the data center in Eastern Europe corresponding to the level of reliability Tier IV.

Cumulative power of this data center of DataPro for November, 2020 is 1600 with firmness - places. The first stage on 800 with firmness - places is put into operation. The second queue (on 800 it is resistant - places) will be available until the end of 2020. At the same time the total number of racks in DPCs of DataPro will grow to 3600 that will allow the company to come to the second place in the Russian market of commercial data centers.

Despite all restrictions connected with a quarantine, the DataPro command managed to implement the project in short terms. Work was conducted in dense interaction with specialists of Uptime Institute who confirmed compliance of the project documentation to level of reliability of Tier IV. However, the pandemic introduced the amendments in our working schedule, without having allowed to undergo certification on compliance of Tier IV to opening of data center, however we are going to finish fully certification in categories Design and Facility in the nearest future, comments Alexey Soldatov, the CEO of DataPro.

Level of client requests grows in Russia, and reliability of DPC costs on one of the first places among customer requirements. It is the interesting project which will show on how many DPCs of such class in Russia are demanded. The project success will be defined in many respects by competent price policy and promotion of this platform, considers Stanislav Mirin, the leading consultant of iKS-Consulting.

Construction of data center is the first stage of strategy implementation DataPro directed to creation of the private operator of DPCs in Russia. In the medium term the company is going to double capacities of the first platform DataPro Moscow I and to begin construction of the third data center. said Evgeny Bogdanchikov, the chief executive of DataPro.
