2020: Development of a complex of radio detonation

The Ruselectronics holding of State Corporation Rostec developed the first domestic complex of radio detonation for creation of special effects on the shooting stage. The equipment can be also used during mining works and to liquidation of ice jams on the rivers. Roelektronika reported about it on November 6, 2020.

The transmitter managing on a radio channel 4 executive devices is a part of a complex, each of which has 10 managed exits for fast installation of the wires connecting the device to detonators. The complex works in not licensed frequency range of 868 MHz and provides sending range of a signal to 1 km on the open area. The equipment is protected from false operations at influence of noises. The device can initiate single explosions and also is capable to work in the line mode imitating light-weapons fire.

The equipment exceeds Asian analogs on reliability and security and at the same time is much cheaper than the Western European equipment. At the request of the customer devices can be manufactured in the protected body.

Our complex for remote initiation of explosive charges can find application not only on the shooting stage. For example, preparing for floods, the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations blows up ice on the rivers, however before radio blasting for these purposes was not used. We gave a complex to the Center for holding rescue operations of extra risk Leader to trial operation, the first positive results are already received. The complex can be also applied during drilling-and-blasting works and replace the disposable detonating cords, - the CEO of ONIIP Vladimir Berezovsky told.
