2020: Creation of the digital platform of management
On November 10, 2020 the GMCS company announced deployment for network of bakeries candy stores Volkonsky the digital platform of management based on Microsoft Dynamics 365.
In the ERP system key business processes of network of bakeries candy stores are automated: management of finance, treasury, purchases, logistics, production and planning. Integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 with a management system for point-of-sale terminals (POS) and the system of accounting is executed.
Start of the solution took place in the period of the self-isolation mode. For November, 2020 in a system users at the central office and in all regions where there is Volkonsky work.
Approximately a year ago we understood that we "outgrew" the used IT solution and we need to look more deeply in digital. Selected among a set of worthy platforms as it is investments into the best practices of management and technology advantage. Use of a system opens opportunities for improvement of business processes on which the efficiency directly depends. Especially it is important as several months we worked in the conditions of restrictions in connection with a pandemic and also in 2020 to Volkonsky 15 years are performed. One of features of the solution is automation of end-to-end process, beginning from obtaining orders from outlets, formation on their basis of production orders, registration of execution of operations in workshops online using the developed module KitchenDisplaySystem (KDS) before shipment of products to outlets. As a result significantly the accuracy of planning increased and costs were reduced and also customer service improved.
Besides, according to requirements of Rosselkhoznadzor for a design and clearing of electronic certificates integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 with a FSIS "Mercury" is executed.
Further development of the project is connected with replication of the solution on the international holding "Garez and Partners" which includes also network of Volkonsky cafe (the head of holding and the founder of Volkonsky is the investor and businessman Alexander Rene Garez). GMCS started implementation of the solution in which special attention will be paid to conducting management accounting, project management and an opportunity on a centralized basis to receive the reporting in cuts necessary to business from Microsoft Dynamics 365.
For GMCS it is one of the first ERP projects according to Microsoft Dynamics 365. Cooperation with Volkonsky began with the small project on check analytics which laid the foundation for the large-scale project of automation.
