2020: Announcement of installation of accumulation of the electric power

On November 10, 2020 it became known that specialists of the Engineering center "Computer Simulation and Engineering in the field of Power and Power Engineering" (Kazan) developed installation of accumulation of energy for the Arctic and the region of the Far North. It is supposed that development will allow to optimize availability, profitability and reliability of power supply of remote local objects of the Russian Arctic and also to build power infrastructure of the macroregion on the basis of "green" generation.

As it was explained, installation of accumulation of the electric power has the power of 300 kW and can provide on average up to two days of independent operation for a complex of residential buildings or the enterprise of the oil and gas industry. The device is the system of 6 cubic meters in size consisting of lithium-ion rechargeable batteries and a hardware and software system. Proposed solutions have including modular and container execution and allow to develop quickly systems on objects. Development includes the developed control algorithms flows of the generating and power consumptions implemented in the form of a specialized software, techniques of selection and a complete set of the equipment depending on parameters of the consumer and the modes of his work. The system of accumulation of energy can be connected for recharge and transfer of a power supply to any power supply network.

This development will allow to reduce dependence of Far North on such "dirty" power sources as oil products, to optimize autonomy of the objects consuming energy and will reduce volumes of "northern delivery" – annual supply of oil products to areas of the Polar region in anticipation of a winter season. It will reduce capital and operating costs of the enterprises for power supply and also expenses on service staff in comparison with diesel power stations. Annual economy of the enterprise using the energy drive can make up to 360 million rubles annually.

The received technical solutions – result of work of the Kazan engineering center "Computer Simulation and Engineering in the field of Power and Power Engineering" (developer) within project implementation according to the federal target program for the order of Industrial partners on behalf of Oldam LLC and the Cross-industry engineering center MSTU of N.E. Bauman and a financial support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. Technical documentation and the rights to development in 2020 are assigned to Industrial partners for commercialization of development and deployment in the industry. End users of solutions are the oil and gas extraction companies, the electric grid and "green" generation companies.
