2020: The announcement of Urolift Advanced Tissue Control - the device for treatment of a giperplaziya of a prostate gland by introduction of implants

In the middle of November, 2020 the Teleflex company released the system under the name Urolift Advanced Tissue Control intended for treatment of patients from the good-quality giperplaziy prostate gland (GQGPG). A system can be used for opening of an urethra by installation of small implants which hold prostate shares on site and open a way to urine. The device is specially intended for treatment of patients with complex anatomic structure of a prostate gland, including with big side shares and an obstructive average share.

DGPZh - a widespread disease which is suffered by more than 500 million men around the world. Most often it develops with age and is followed by decline in quality of life. Treatment includes medicinal therapy or surgical intervention, but these solutions are suitable not for all patients.

Teleflex provided the device for treatment of a giperplaziya of a prostate gland by introduction of implants

The Urolift system is designed to provide minimum invasive therapy without section and destructive expansion of an urethra. A system can be used in out-patient conditions, and the procedure takes about one-two hours. The urologist can install the device in an urethra at cystoscopy, and then use it for introduction of small implants to the increased prostate shares. At the same time implants remove prostate shares aside and release the squeezed urethra.

Special wings which help to hold fabric during the procedure allow the urologist to visualize the place of obstruction, and the improved design of a tip simplifies installation of implants. The tags etched by the laser on a marker of arrangement of a needle also help to place implants more precisely.
