2020: Completion of trial operation of the automated control system for railway transport

On Lebedinsky Mining and Processing Integrated Works (enters into Metalloinvest company) trial operation of the automated control system for railway transport (an ACS of railway) comes to the end. On November 11, 2020 ICKX holding reported about it.

In cabins of 52 traction units the equipment transferring in real time to a dispatcher station information on the status and location of the vehicle is installed. It is as a result created the card available to all employees involved in ore transportation is interactive. The manager sees each stage of operation of the unit, the speed of decision making and efficiency of planning increases, safety of transportations increases.

Before less than a half of all data on provision and the status of objects of a mining-transport complex came to information systems of plant in the automatic mode. The proposed solution changes a situation and completely excludes manual entry of information, provides its operational transfer.

The idea of the project was offered by engineers Serham Lemekhov and Vladimir Alyokhin.

The complex is development of specialists of Metalo-Tekh LLC and Innovation laboratory of Metalloinvest. The command designed architecture of scalable complete solution, developed data exchange interfaces, the software, designed and manufactured printed circuit boards. On development about 7 months were required.

The flexible architecture of the project allows to connect additional external discrete and analog sensors, to upgrade a complex under solutions of different tasks. For November, 2020 expansion of the project is planned for the excavator park LGOKA involved on a friable and rocky overburden. Meetings with specialists of Mikhaylovsky GOKA of A.V. Varichev on exchange of experience and estimates of applicability of the solution at plant are held.

The program of digital transformation is implemented in Metalloinvest company since the beginning of 2017. Its purposes are transition to a uniform information ecosystem, business process automation, implementation of the innovative technologies.

Implementation of an ACS of railway is included into one of the most significant drafts of the program – Digital Pit. Process automation and use of the innovative technologies will provide a possibility of flexible planning and correction of a production chain on any section in real time.
