2021: Low Code Technology Implementation
The ALP Group Corporate Information Systems Department (ALP-IS LLC - DKIS) is a Russian developer of IT solutions for managing large commercial and government organizations based on 1C software products, and improves the mechanisms for quick implementation of ERP using Low Code technology. The company announced this on August 5, 2021. First of all, Low Code mechanisms will be used in data analysis and visualization modules (in particular, BI and Process Mining). This will allow users to get the functionality of analytical applications they need in the shortest possible time.
According to DKIS ALP, Low Code technology is applicable in enterprise management systems of any scale in various industries. At the same time, in key and especially demanding components of complex systems for fault tolerance and performance (such as/ APCS, MES transaction processing, document processing in high-loaded systems, etc.), traditional approaches to development and testing will continue to be indispensable.
Among the most important advantages of Low Code technology, DKIS ALP specialists consider it possible to dramatically increase the speed of implementation of functions that support management decisions. In fact, in some cases, the user will be able to get additional functionality for his tasks within one to two days - without waiting for the update of the system version in relation to the release release plan.
The possibility of using Low Code is initially laid down in the design of the ERP system by the ALP CIS Department and involves a different level of organization of operation and solution support teams, which will need to include end-user support specialists for this technology. On the other hand, the construction of systems involving the future use of Low Code also imposes new requirements on analysts and system architects of the integrator: they must be deeply understood not only in technology, but also in customer accounting systems. It is important that only when the system is built correctly can you guarantee a normal load on the servers, since the performance of Low Code components may be lower than those written using conventional methods. At the same time, the use of Low Code must necessarily comply with the accepted regulations and be monitored for compliance with the system architecture as a whole.
Thus, the combination of traditional development methods, Agile and DevOps methodologies, the mechanism for rapid implementation of ALP BI modules into existing customer systems, as well as the Low Code potential, all serve as the most effective technology for implementing the concept of rapid deployment of ERP in Russian enterprises created by ALP Group.
2020: Announcement of comprehensive technology for accelerated deployment of full-featured ERP systems
On November 11, 2020, the ALP Group Corporate Information Systems Department (ALP-IS LLC) announced a comprehensive technology for accelerated deployment of full-featured ERP systems.
According to the company, this technology is based on three key elements: the mechanism for typing the main business processes of a modern enterprise (taking into account the size, scope of activity and geography of work); own proven project management technology at all stages (taking into account real KPIs - both for the project itself and at the level of project teams and specific employees); as well as an automated system of joint control with the customer over each stage of work execution.
Based on this approach to implementing ERP in a modern environment, ALP has created an exhaustive repository of universal workflow templates that ensure the continuity of the business of any organization. At the same time, working with such templates, seamlessly implementing standardized business processes in the structure of the customer's organization requires a professional integrator of branch ownership of IT tools, comprehensive work with analytical data, as well as a rolled-back project management methodology - both inside the integrator and on the customer side.
The key elements that allowed ALP to effectively use ERP accelerated deployment technology are, first of all, its own management developments included in the company's lean production model. The most important of them are modules for managing and monitoring working hours in combination with specialized BI solutions. Among them, we note such business applications as the "Resource Manager Monitor" (it allows you to monitor the level of load, the timeliness of setting tasks and the progress of their implementation); "Project Manager Monitor" (responsible for planned and actual work, financial indicators, including historical data), "Project Passport" (provides comprehensive documentation sections for each project) and "Profitability" (responsible for cost, revenue, supplier data). All of them are an integral part of the end-to-end project management system introduced in the ALP Group back in 2018 and continuing to improve in November 2020.
The accelerated ERP deployment technology for November 2020 is especially relevant when users pay increasing attention to such features as remote interaction between employees and project teams (for example, creating applications for system changes), contacting developers and support services directly from accounts, timely task adjustment ("error work"), maintenance and development.
Another important component used by ALP in the work is joint control technology, which allows both the customer and the executor to track the progress of the project using a single set of tools and data. This module is the foundation for the further complex development of the project and the quick solution of problems that arise in the customer as his business develops. In addition, the openness of this platform allows the customer to integrate existing enterprise solutions in the field cyber security into a comprehensive IP (from basic access control to infrastructure protection), and, if necessary, to use IB technologies, including "."cloudy
