MTS bypassed MegaFon and will provide communication services of administration of St. Petersburg for 168 million rubles

As it became known on November 17, 2020, MTS bypassed MegaFon in the tender for provision of services of communication of administration of St. Petersburg. The starting (maximum) price of the contract was a little more than 168 million rubles. It works until the end of February, 2023.

Under the terms of the agreement, in 2021-2022 MTS will provide with mobile communication, connection to network of the protected data transmission and digital services the Administration of the Governor of Saint Petersburg, committees of Smolny, district administrations, public institutions, the agencies and inspections. In total within the contract more than 7 thousand public servants will remain subscribers of MTS, noted in the company.

The previous tender took place in the fall of 2019. Following the results all committees of Smolny, district administrations, public institutions, the agencies and inspections were transferred to MTS networks. The operator won competition, having offered the price for 94% of initial for the services.

The victory in an auction in 2020 in MTS was connected with the fact that the operator offered the most attractive cost of services, the high level of service, individual approach and a complete packet of the innovation products.^[1]
