History

2020: Acquisition of 70% by HMS Industrial Networks AB company

HMS Industrial Networks AB, the absolute subsidiary company HMS Networks AB (publ), acquired 70% of all shares of the Dutch company Procentec BV. It became known on October 1, 2020. Procentec with the headquarters in Rotterdam is the company in the field of solutions and services in diagnostics and monitoring of industrial networks.

The products offered by Procentec company provide reliable infrastructure of industrial networks, such as PROFIBUS, PROFINET, Ethernet/IP and other standards of industrial Ethernet. The portfolio includes the key products ProfiTrace, ProfiHub, ComBrick, Atlas and Osiris which help field technical specialists to perform easily monitoring, the analysis and fault recovery of networks – as at the plants, and far off, preventing undesirable idle times of production.

Products of Procentec fill a gap in the offer of HMS in the field of communication infrastructure. Industrial networks play the vital role in industrial processes, and products and services of Procentec considerably increase error-free running time and data availability in these responsible networks, – Staffan Dalstryom, the CEO of HMS Networks says, and continues, – using Procentec the HMS company gets access to the after-sale business connected with a huge number of the industrial networks established worldwide that allows it to become much closer to end users of these networks. 70% of shares of Procentec were acquired by HMS at founders who do not work in the company any more. The remained 30% belong to the administration operating for November, 2020 which will save the leading positions and will continue to do Procentec business.

The Procentec group having about 70 employees and affiliated enterprises in Germany, Italy and Great Britain reached in 2019 total sales in the amount of 11.7 million euros. This acquisition will have a limited impact on the value of net profit on one^[1]
