2020: Chainway C72 use

On November 19, 2020 it became known that manual mobile computers Chainway C72 with RFID UHF technology are used in a system of accounting of lifecycle of animals in farm "Sq.m farm".

4500 hectares of own laylands in Moscow area are at the disposal of Farm of Sq.m for November, 2020. The company pays special attention to quality of products, checking it at all production phases in own laboratories.

The task to provide contactless tracking of movement and to automate object accounting of 3000 heads of animals in the farm for maintaining "the electronic passport of an animal" was set for IT service of holding. "The passport of an animal" is the electronic document containing all information on an animal since his birth – including about conditions of keeping, physical parameters of development, inoculations, treatment, etc.

A system based on UHF RFID technology using the manual mobile readers Chaiway C72, korpusirovanny tags of the production Siltek and mobile application developed by IT service of the customer was developed for the solution of a task.

Before to make the decision on equipment selection for a system, we carried out the analysis of everything that is in the market, including RFID of readers. As a result, we selected Chainway C72, and on it constructed a solution architecture. Why C72. It is slightly less on dimensions, than the similar competing devices. It has an option of use of the screen wet hands or hands in gloves that not all devices can offer. It has a good service life of the accumulator. As our employees use the reader not every minute, and on some events, one gymnastics of the reader last for 2-3 days. And, of course, it was important for us that C72 provided reading of RFID of tags from distance of 3 meters.
