Philips will deliver 284 expert ultrasonic systems in clinics of Moscow and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area

2020: Delivery of the expert ultrasonic systems to clinics of Moscow and YaNAO

In September, 2020 within public procurements deliveries of large batches of the ultrasonic equipment were played. In the tenders organized by GAU "Gormedtekhnika" of the Moscow Department of Healthcare in addition to Philips, four companies working in the field of medical visualization participated.

The Philips company managed to win a victory in three open competitions. On a condition of contracts the company will deliver in medical institutions of Moscow and YaNAO 284 ultrasonic systems of an expert class for the total amount more than 1.6 billion rubles. Philips reported about it on November 19, 2020. Bargains are concluded in a format of the contracts of lifecycle (CL). It means that the company undertakes to provide working capacity and regular service maintenance and repairs of the equipment throughout all service life from 7 to 10 years.

"Participation in tenders for delivery of the medical equipment in the KZhTs format – one of priorities of Philips. Inititating service in contract amount, we provide significant economy for the customer. The conclusion of KZhTs – permanent practice in many countries of the world, including in European. We hope that soon it will be widespread in all regions of Russia".

"At the end of 2019 Moscow started contracts of lifecycle of the difficult medical equipment and involved the qualified contractors in their delivery and service. Eminent global manufacturers among whom and Philips company became winners of tenders in the field of health care. Thanks to KZhTs the capital will receive the modern equipment with 10-year service from the companies which have not only production capacities, but also relevant experiment on service of the equipment", – Alexander Prokhorov, the Head of Department of investment and industrial policy of Moscow told.

He added that development of economic and legal conditions of contracts, in identification of risks, preparation of the proving materials organization subordinated to Department – the City agency of the investment management is engaged. With the assistance of GAUI Moscow already concluded KZhTs in health care for the total amount more than 31 billion rubles.

Our task - to provide as the bigger number of patients high-quality and timely medical care is possible, – Irina Rybalchenko, the CEO of GAU "Gormedtekhnika" emphasized. – For this reason when purchasing the difficult diagnostic equipment we began to organize open competitions on signing of the contracts of lifecycle. It allows to reduce idle times of devices and gives to heads of medical institutions more confidence in tomorrow".

Among offices of Philips which will come to clinics 262 expert ultrasonic devices of the Philips EPIQ family developed for all types of screening of adult patients including for diagnosis of oncological diseases and also 22 portable BONDS devices of Philips CX50 are provided.
