2020: Implementing Smart ID Engine

1C-Start introduced Smart ID Engine passport recognition into business registration services for VTB and PSB. This was announced on November 25, 2020 by Smart Engines.

The introduced technical solution based on Smart ID Engine made it possible to reduce the time for entering passport data when online registering business on bank websites. When creating a package of documents for registering an LLC or IP, users were able to quickly automatically complete documents with information from a passport photo taken using a mobile phone or from a document scan. Additionally, the quality of input data was improved due to a decrease in the number of errors that are possible with manual input.

We provide banks with business registration solutions that offer a different level of customer service and usability. As of November 2020, in the services of VTB and PSB, more than 10,000 packages of documents of LLC and IP were prepared using document recognition technology, which shows a high level of demand for this technology among users, "said Alexander Raptovsky, director of 1S-Start.
