Kemerovo Nitrogen will increase reliability of a production equipment using "Galaxy EAM"

2017: Start of the project of control automation by production assets

In August, 2017 in KAO "Nitrogen" for the purpose of optimization of the repair program the project of control automation by production assets which is executed jointly by the official regional representative "Financial technologies" and Galaktika corporation started.

Project Tasks

Project objective is increase in level of industrial security of the enterprise, increase in reliability of business assets and reduction of production losses. Implementation of this project will allow technical services of the enterprise to analyze quickly technical condition of the equipment, to receive statistics of failures and defects, to timely make reasoned decisions on methods and types of influences for the purpose of increase in utilization coefficient of the equipment and, respectively, increase in production volume of products.

The pilot project based on Azot Workshop No. 15 KAO which is expected 12 months with side-by-side execution of a part of the main stages of works started. At further scaling of the solution on other workshops of the enterprise information systems of Galaktika corporation will become a basis of digitalization of the enterprise and will provide transition to the new level of operation of technologies for increase in profitability of the company" — the CEO of KAO "Nitrogen" Igor Bezukh noted.

Project Progress

According to Konstantin Sudyin, the director of the company "Financial technologies", works on technical audit, collecting of databases of the equipment and databases of the normative reference information (NRI) are performed. Further within project implementation of automation using the Galaktika EAM system dispatching of works on a MRO will be provided, efficiency analysis of management of a MRO is carried out, accounting of information on technical condition production assets is provided, are implemented implementation of methodology on reliability and formation of the analytical reporting.

All this will allow to transfer process systems to the increased between-repairs run (MRP) for the purpose of receiving an additional profit due to reduction of a downtime of installations for carrying out planned repair work.

In the project it is also going to use mobile jobs for collecting of the measured indicators for monitoring of technical condition of infrastructure facilities using mobile devices. System implementation of "Galaxy EAM" will allow to reduce as a result charges of the equipment and to gain an additional income due to reduction of idle times of process systems and increase in a between-repairs run and also to reveal the most critical objects in terms of reliability and effects of failures which need priority service and support — Alexander Burgardt, the vice president of Galaktika corporation added.
