At the Tambov powder mill start production of medical gloves for 1.5 billion rubles

As it became known at the end of November, 2020, at the Tambov powder mill start the project on production of nitrile gloves. Will release latex, nitrile and neoprene gloves of more than half a billion pieces here a year. There are no analogs such production in the country yet, assure at the enterprise.

Under production will spend 400 million rubles for reconstruction of workshop, even more than 1 billion will direct to purchase of eight unified lines on which will release latex, nitrile and neoprene gloves. Production will be performed round the clock, capacity of plant will be 509.2 million pairs of gloves a year.

According to Kommersant with reference to data of the portal of state procurements, on September 16, 2020 the plant placed on the portal the request for providing in leasing of industrial complex for 1.076 billion rubles. The agreement was signed with JSC Consolidated Leasing Company. The administration of the region reported to the newspaper that it is about a complex from eight unified lines allowing to release latex, nitrile and neoprene gloves.

Nitrile and neoprene gloves along with latex are used in a health care system. During a pandemic of a coronavirus of COVID-19 there was a deficit on these products therefore products which are turned out at the Tambov powder mill will be demanded.

Besides, the Tambov products will have unique characteristics: the people suffering from allergic reactions to latex will be able to use gloves, and physicians will be able to work on the supersensitive hi-tech equipment with hardly any trouble at all. Production will be arranged on domestic raw materials, noted at the plant.

The planned payback period — 2.7 years, expect internal rate of return in region administration at the level of 14.13%. The planned production start term — May, 2021.^[1]
