2020: Ensuring uninterrupted printing
Copy service based on Xerox and Galex solutions ensured uninterrupted printing in the Administrative and Economic Administration (AHU) of the Barnaul administration. Xerox announced this on November 30, 2020.
This service model has increased print quality, reduced troubleshooting times, and reduced downtime. Outsourcing services are provided according to the XPPS model based on Xerox methodology, service platforms and tools. The contract covers the management of all 258 AHU printing devices of the Barnaul administration, most of which are manufactured by Xerox.
Galex performs routine and unscheduled maintenance and repair of the equipment of the AHU of the Barnaul administration, supplies spare parts and manages the warehouse of consumables on the customer's territory. In case of a delay in repair, the service provider allocates small office equipment as a temporary replacement, and rents Xerox MFIs to optimize the fleet. The contract provides for regular reporting and strict quality control of services.
Earlier, we concluded separate service contracts for the repair of printing equipment, the supply of consumables and other work on the maintenance of the park, "comments Yevgeny Delyukin, chairman of the informatization committee of the Barnaul administration. - Thanks to the offer of Xerox and Galex, we were able to switch to a single contract with copy payment and guaranteed repair times. This is a more efficient model: it simplified the management of the print infrastructure, helped optimize its work and get a consistently high level of service. |
To control employees' access to color printing, Galex specialists have implemented the YSoft SafeQ control system in their organizations. In addition, the service provider has integrated the Xerox Device Agent solution, which allows you to remotely receive information about the number of prints and consumables performed, find device failures and provide primary user support.
The transition to one-window fleet maintenance unloaded the IT service of the Barnaul administration, "comments Sergey Loktionov, head of the copying and multiplication equipment department of Galex Service LLC. - The organization no longer has to independently assess the nature of breakdowns, negotiate with individual suppliers, coordinate repairs and look for a replacement for faulty devices. So, the freed resources can be directed to solving other, more important tasks. |
