2019: Putin approved the Strategy for the Development of Healthcare of the Russian Federation until 2025

In June 2019, Russian President Vladimir Putin approved the Strategy for the Development of Health Care of the Russian Federation until 2025. The corresponding decree of the head of state is published on the official portal of legal information.

The text of the decree notes that the Government will have to approve a plan of activities for the implementation of the Strategy within six months. In addition, the decree contains recommendations to the regions in carrying out their work in the field of protecting the health of citizens to be guided by the provisions of the Strategy and provide for the necessary changes in the relevant strategies for the socio-economic development of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.[1]
