2020: Announcement of the Canon Aplio i ultrasonography scanners

At the beginning of December, 2020 Canon Medical Systems provided the updated line of the Aplio i ultrasonography scanners. This equipment, according to developers, allows to diagnose most precisely liver diseases thanks to automatic calculation of a number of indicators.

Diseases of a liver are one of the main problems in the field of visualization as exact diagnosis of the compensated progressing chronic disease of a liver is extremely important for the further choice of treatment. Society of the radiologists dealing with problems of ultrasonography (SRU) published recommendations in which "The rule of four" - the standardized method of check of results of an elastografiya by a shift wave for assessment of probability of chronic diseases of a liver is submitted. That easily and precisely to define these indicators, Canon added software for calculation of their mean values to the Aplio i-series system.

Canon provided the ultrasonography scanners which precisely defines liver diseases

The program uses the measurements of rigidity of tissues of liver received using an elastografiya by a shift wave. Besides, the Aplio i-series system provides data on standard deviation and mezhkvartilny range of these values and also visualizes data in a schedule type for exact assessment of pathologies of a liver.

The new recommendations of SRU underline importance of fast and exact diagnosis of chronic diseases of a liver which allows doctors to plan the correct course of treatment in time, - the managing director of division of ultrasonic examinations of Canon Medical Systems USA Dan Skyba noted. - The system of Canon will automatically calculate necessary values of rigidity of fabrics according to an elastografiya and will allow doctors to set the diagnosis quickly.
