2020: Start of an AI system for diagnosis

At the beginning of December, 2020 Sber announced start of free service of setting of the preliminary diagnosis using a neuronet. On the website the user lists symptoms in a free form (it is possible to write in a free form: a system understands reductions and the text with errors) then the artificial intelligence provides three most probable diagnoses and suggests to make an appointment with the doctor. Accuracy of recognition of the reason of an indisposition, according to developers, is from 75% to 91%.

More than 4 million set diagnoses in anonymous form were loaded into a neuronet. At the same time in "memory" of a system there are 265 different diagnoses that covers 95% of all chances of diagnoses of Russians at the first appeal to hospitals.

Sber started service of diagnosis using AI

Further Sber is going to train a neuronet to determine COVID-19 disease probability, including on rare symptoms. If the user enters the description of a status characteristic of a koronavirusny infection, a system will in addition warn about suspicion of a disease and will suggest to address to clinic, to hand over the PTsR-test or to call the ambulance.

Service was developed by the Sberzdorovye, Sbermed II and Laboratory on Artificial Intelligence companies entering into structure of Sber. Earlier they created and started the service allowing to determine pulmonary diseases by the loaded picture of KT.

Our purpose — development of services which as much as possible would unload the doctor from a routine, saving his precious time for difficult clinical tasks. It is also important for the patient and it is useful as, roughly speaking, his problem will be analyzed at least two times – the doctor first of all and also service on the basis of artificial intelligence.
