On building sites of Moscow digital doubles of workers appeared

As it became known on December 8, 2020, digital doubles of workers appeared on the construction sites of Moscow. This is a joint project of the metropolitan Departments of Urban Planning Policy and Information Technology, as well as the National Research Technological University "MISiS."

For builders, they developed a special suit and software and hardware complex, which translates all their work into digital information. This allows you to track whether the actual actions of employees correspond to the current job assignments. In addition, the technology will allow controlling the time of their active and inactive activities.

Digital doubles of workers appeared on the construction sites of the capital of the Russian Federation

The head of the Moscow City Planning Policy Department, Sergey Levkin, said that the introduction of digital duplication technology for workers on the construction site can significantly increase labor productivity. In particular, this will increase the efficiency of managing production processes at construction sites. Identification of the performed actions of employees will prevent accidents at work and reduce by 30% the potential risks in the field of violation of safety and labor protection rules, he said.

In addition, according to Levkin, thanks to the project, the productivity of individual employees can increase by up to 20% due to monitoring the compliance of operations with current job assignments and monitoring the time of active/inactive activity.

Thanks to the analysis of data and the formation of statistical reporting, it will be possible to predict the probability of lagging behind the work schedule or, on the contrary, its advance and develop recommendations for making management decisions, "the head of the department explained.

He emphasized that the project is aimed at developers and executive authorities, who will be able to obtain visual, reliable and operational information about the current work at the facilities.[1]
