S7 Airlines of the first of Russian airline issued blitz applications for iOS which do not need to be set. The carrier reported about it on December 9, 2020.

Thanks to App Clips the owner of the smartphone will be able not to load the application on the gadget at all if it is necessary for it here and now, and in the future it is not useful. Blitz applications (App Clips) appeared in iOS 14. Earlier not used program could be deleted absolutely or only to unload from memory. Also a system for the sake of economy of the place on iPhone itself unloaded the application in a cloud if noticed that long did not use it.

In S7 blitz applications it is possible to make out air tickets, to be registered on run, to change armoring, to check hand luggage for compliance to regulations, to monitor movement of baggage and to get a personal account in the loyalty program of S7 Priority.

S7 Airlines issued blitz applications for iOS for the popular services

For example, using the smartphone it is possible to check dimensions of hand luggage, having carried out by the device camera around a bag or a suitcase. The application will compare them to admissible regulation and will report whether it is possible to take such hand luggage in salon.

Access to S7 blitz applications is provided by QR codes which by December 9, 2020 are placed in zones of airline at the Moscow Domodedovo Airport and the Novosibirsk Tolmachevo.

QR codes of S7 Airlines also appeared in a net zone of Domodedovo Airport — with their help it is possible to pay pass to the business hall. After scanning of the code the traveler will need to enter a surname and a booking number. If the passenger flies one, then he will be able to pass for payment services at once. If in one armoring tickets for several passengers are issued at once, then at first it will be necessary to confirm whether all will expect a departure in the business hall.

After activation of the blitz application of S7 Airlines it will be possible to find in the Recently Used folder. The airline is going to expand the list of the functions available within blitz applications to iOS.^[1]
