OBI implemented a management system for working time in three shops

2020: Start of schedule system of flexible hours of retail employees

The network of hypermarkets for repair and giving OBI started the project on effective planning of flexible hours of retail employees. This project is implemented together with Verme company. It became known on December 9, 2020. The solution Verme will allow to optimize the current planning process of employees, to automate a tabelirovaniye, to increase quality of the forecast of business drivers and to reveal the real need for employees in a specific interval of time. The project started in 3 pilot shops, after that the solution will be implemented in all hypermarkets of OBI in Russia.

The pilot project includes regulation of transactions, forecasting and calculation of need for employees – proceeding from dynamics of a consumer flow, features of demand, time of day and availability of employees, automatic planning of flexible hours, the actual accounting – comparison of the plan and the fact of an exit of employees, the analytical reporting.

The curator of the project, the area manager of the region Moscow-2 of OBI Russia Maxim Alyakrinsky speaks about the potential and the expected results from control automation working time:

We live in dynamically changing environment, and one of the major success factors – timely to answer market demands. The implemented solution will allow us to redistribute resources in shops for benefit of providing better service thanks to what the buyer as a result will win.

The main objectives of the project – to increase labor productivity, to reduce time expenditure by planning of diagrams and a tabelirovaniye of the fulfilled hours that as a result will create conditions for implementation of potential of the project.
