2020: Start selling Samsung MicroLED TV

On December 10, 2020, Samsung announced the sale of its first home TV MicroLED. We are talking about a model with a 110-inch screen, the cost of which in the South Korean market will be 170 million won (about $156 thousand).

Samsung MicroLED devices use LEDs that are several microns in size, which emit light of the necessary color, forming their own pixel structures, which allows us to abandon the backlight and color filters that are installed in ordinary displays. As a result, a 4K display with 8 million pixels is able to reproduce 100% of the DCI and Adobe RGB color scales. In addition, LEDs MicroLED made of inorganic materials, which provides high image quality over the entire service life, which reaches 100 thousand hours or more than ten years.

For example, Multi View allows you to view content from four sources simultaneously by dividing the screen into multiple zones up to 55 inches in size. They can view the game guide directly during the gameplay.

Samsung has begun accepting pre-orders for the purchase of TV MicroLED. Users will be able to get this product at their disposal in early 2021. The timing of the appearance of the product on the Russian market by December 10, 2020 is not called.^[1]
