In Kazakhstan production of the vaccine "Sputnik of V" began

On December 21, 2020 was announced start of production of the Russian vaccine against a coronavirus COVID-19 Satellite V century "" Kazakhstan. Medicine began to be produced based on Karaganda pharmaceutical complex.

The prime minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin visited the Karaganda pharmaceutical complex where he gave start to production of the vaccine "Sputnik of V" within implementation of arrangements between presidents of Kazakhstan by Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev and the Russian Federation by Vladimir Putin, says the government of the republic. The head of the Kazakhstan government emphasized special importance of localization of industrial production of the Russian vaccine in Kazakhstan.

At the enterprise it is going to produce 2 million doses step by step. Mass voluntary vaccination by "Sputnik of V" in Kazakhstan will begin in February, 2021. First of all health workers, teachers, students, law enforcement officers, patients of medico-social organizations, representatives of risk groups with chronic diseases will be imparted.

At the beginning of December, 2020 Mamin reported to Tokayev that production of "Sputnik of V" will begin in the republic on December 22. At the same time Kazakhstan developed own vaccine against a koronavirusny infection. At the end of November the first and second phases of its clinical trials came to the end, on December 25 drug will be injected by 3 thousand volunteers within the third stage of researches.

According to Mamin, medicine showed efficiency, scientists did not record any ghost effects. Kazakhstan is going to complete researches of the vaccine in March, 2021.

Except Kazakhstan, Russia already agreed about production of the vaccine "Sputnik of V" with India, Brazil, China and South Korea. The question of use of platforms in Germany, France, Serbia, Turkey and Uzbekistan is studied. In general applications for 1.2 billion doses of the Russian medicine were submitted by more than 50 countries.^[1]
