2020: Beginning of deliveries to Colombia

The Efferon company, the resident Klastera of biomedical technologies of Skolkovo Foundation, begins delivery to the Republic of Colombia of devices for extracorporal cleaning of Efferon LPS and Efferon CT blood. The Skolkovo Foundation reported about it on December 21, 2020.

Products of Efferon company are entered in the sanitary register of INVIMA (Instituto Nacional de Vigilancia de Medicamentos y Alimentos) of Colombia and now are available in this country to medical use. The distributor of Closter Pharma S.A.S acts as the partner. It opens access to the Latin American market with the general population more than 400 million people.

Colombia is the first foreign market for Efferon company. In the next plans – obtaining allowing documentation in Mexico.

Our approach to work - our products should be competitive and demanded in the world markets. We are proud of the fact that in 2020 we managed to take the first step in this direction.

Devices are used to extracorporal cleaning of Efferon LPS and Efferon CT blood in medical institutions of Russia at complex therapy of such zhizneugrozhayushchy statuses as sepsis and septic shock, including at COVID-19.

In the period of COVID-19 pandemic the world health care system faces a problem of maintaining patients for whom the extracorporal detoxication is necessary. Structures of Efferon company proved in the Russian market as a highly effective method of fight against the septic shock known as "a tsitokinovy storm", at application for patients with a heavy current of COVID-19. Now, thanks to efforts of the resident of Skolkovo Foundation, inhabitants of Latin America will receive an available method of treatment of this zhizneugrozhayushchy status.
