According to information for December, 2020, hardware implementation of Dcrypt XG allows to reach the speed of enciphering of 100 Gb in the full-duplex mode. Basic function of the coder is protection of traffic at the data link layer (L2) with protection of the MAC addresses and the EtherType fields. The scheme of open distribution of keys is used.
The coder is intended for protection:

- Trunk channels of service providers;
