"I am a Good fellow" represents youth social network of short vertical videos in a format of mobile application (some kind of analog of popular TikTok).

2020: Gazprom Media purchased the I Am a Good Fellow application
On December 23, 2020 it became known of sale of mobile application "I am a Good fellow" to structures of Gazprom Media. The cost of the transaction does not reveal.
As the CEO of Gazprom Media Alexander Zharov told Kommersant, the perimeter of the transaction included the exclusive rights to the application and the non-exclusive rights to the software with the right of modification and processing.
It will allow holding to use project software for acceleration of creation of the new video service focused on the Russian bloggers — he said, having added that the video platform with the user content is going to start within two years. |
In the publication of the edition it is said that the I Am a Good Fellow application is developed with organizational and expert support of Innopraktika fund. The fund explained that selected such option of cooperation with a startup instead of investment because consider important development of perspective domestic technologies, including communication frameworks for youth.
The founder of Yamolodets company (the developer of the application) Alexander Zelenshchikov emphasized that the company created software, but intentionally did not scale the project as needed the strategic investor whom acted as Gazprom Media.
In December, 2020 it became known that Gazprom Media in the next two years will provide two platforms for long videos. They should become an analog of YouTube. In plans of Gazprom Media — to update the Russian video hosting of Rutube and to create one more platform.
Due to the migration of consumption of content in mobile devices consumption of vertical video, from here the interest of holdings in development of such platforms grows, the director of a product of VKontakte (develops similar service "Klipy") Marina Krasnov whose opinion is given by Kommersant considers.[1]
