Biography

2020: 3.5 years of imprisonment are conditional for plunder of drugs for 1 million rubles

On December 23, 2020 the Kirov district court of Ufa recognized the former pharmacy manager of the Republican center for prevention and fight against AIDS and infectious diseases Rauza Shaymardanova guilty of assignment of anti-virus medicines (Part 3 of Article 160 by UK) and forgery (Part 2 of Article 327 UK).

It it was sentenced to 3.5 years of conditional imprisonment with a probation period for three years and deprivation of the right to be engaged in pharmaceutical activity for two years. The defendant did not admit the guilt. Criminal case concerning other persons involved is selected in separate production.

As it is set by the investigation, Rauza Shaymardanova during the period from January to May, 2018 stole the anti-virus medicines entrusted to her intended for prevention and treatment of HIV for the total amount of 970 thousand rubles. For this purpose she signed false reports on the movement of medicines where she entered false information on their expenditure. The defendant together with accomplices sold the stolen anti-virus medicine the unknown.

According to the edition proufu.ru, Rauza of Shaymardanov pytalast to bribe investigators in Economic Crime Department in the amount of 1 million rubles that against it did not bring criminal case for use of this scheme. But investigators refused bribery.

Earlier it became known of a similar case in Kurgan where investigators determined the fact of plunder of the medicines intended for patients with HIV and viral hepatitises B and C, the employee of one of the medical centers.

Charge by Part 4 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Assignment or waste") is brought to the woman. In total the health worker managed to steal 400 packagings of tablets for the total amount of 3 million rubles. All of them had to be released free of charge and strictly according to the recipe of the doctor.[1]
