2020: Implementation of technology of automatic creation of the detailed promo-plano-grams

On December 25, 2020 Tape announced implementation of technology of automatic creation of the detailed promo-plano-grams for the shops.

Processes of management of the promo-calculation are automated and implemented based on the updated solution modules of BlueYonder (JDA) CategoryKnowledge Base: Space Planning, Floor planning, Planogram generator.

The updated system of merchandising allows to obtain data on a presentation stock for promo-goods according to the actual existence of the place of the calculation in a trading floor. The calculated values are transmitted to the systems of the integrated planning, the analytical and operational reporting. It allows to increase quality of the sales forecast and orders, to calculate supply rate for replenishment action in shops and distribution centers with a high accuracy, so, to lower stocks and to increase goods availability.

We continue to develop management processes of merchandising based on the latest version of the CKB Blue Yonder (JDA) platform that will allow to gain in the future additional effect and to improve automation in other fields of category management. The solution allowed to automate labor-intensive manual processes of creation of promo-plano-grams and to increase the accuracy of planning of the promo-calculation at the level of each shop. The project allows not only to create automatically schemes of the calculation for each promo-place, but also to quickly make changes in them, – the director of digital innovations and IT of Tape Sergey Korotkov noted.

The Accenture company became the technology partner of Tape on system implementation. The project on updating of the solution and implementation of functionality promo was executed in 30 weeks.

For us the joint project on promo to a planogrammirovaniye is an important step because we not only continue to develop partnership with Tape in the field of tasks of the integrated planning, but also we show possibilities of our practice in the field of the category management including merchandising tasks — the senior manager of Accenture company Sergey Mozzherov added.
