Simetra delivered in TsODD of Moscow tools for transport planning

2020: Delivery of a set of software solutions for transport macro - and mikromodelirovan

The SIMETRA company, competence center in the field of modeling of traffic flows and transport planning, announced on December 28, 2020 delivery to the Center of the organization of traffic of the Government of Moscow (TsODD) of a set of software solutions for transport macro - and micromodelling. TsODD received three versions of PTV Visum Expert on three thousand areas, four licenses PTV Visum Analytic for three thousand areas and four sets of PTV Vissim. The transport models created with PTV Visum help help to calculate the forecast of passenger, traffic, cargo flows and also to estimate effect of implementation of proposed solutions: constructions of outcomes, expansions of the carriageway, introduction of routes.

The PTV Vissim software package is used for creation of simulation models at the level of the certain transport hub. Using this tool it is possible to analyze capacity of roads: cars and pedestrians move on model on scientifically based behavioral models thanks to what the high accuracy of calculations is reached. The packet is applied during the developing of documents KSODD, assessment of planning solutions in the closed territories and to traffic optimization.
