2020: Implementation of "Room of virtual communication"

On December 28, 2020 it became known that Department of corporate information systems of ALP Groupthe Russian developer of the IT solutions for management of the large commercial and state organizations based on software products of 1C – turned on "Room of Virtual Communication" (RVC) in a set of strategic mechanisms of corporate management.

As it was explained, the DKIS ALP internal communication environment – the KVO platform – is intended as for discussion of a broad spectrum of working questions, without being limited to a framework of specific project teams, and for personal interaction of staff of the company.

The ALP company implemented the Room of Virtual Communication HR tool in the spring of 2020. For December, 2020 he already proved the efficiency, and the vast majority of employees are permanent participants of this communication space. Moreover, consistently integrating the technologies providing business continuity of DKIS ALP, the company made the decision to make KVO an integral part of the management system.

For the first time in the regulated system of lean production of ALP there was an opportunity to compensate negative effects of forced transition of personnel to remote work and practically to level them. First of all – due to integration into KVO for a long time the techniques of work with personnel admitted to DKIS: feedback from employees, regular individual and general polls, informal leadership (mentoring), different mechanisms and methods of the report to each employee of need of acceptance of important management decisions. At the same time process of communication happens in KVO naturally and is not moderated.

On the other hand, such approach provided DKIS ALP considerably bigger, than earlier, a flow of initiatives and useful offers from specialists, and the involvement into this process of employees of different level is some kind of guarantee that each significant offer will be taken into account.

Thus, turning on of the mechanism of virtual communication in structure of an internal end-to-end system of management of ALP, actually, allowed to organize team work not only within specific project teams, but also in scales of all organization; reduce time for decision making and the accelerated implementation of technologies.

As practice showed, this tool became one of key also in the solution of such important task as removal of the psychological tension of employees connected with working conditions in the period of a pandemic.
