2021: Start of a national mail electronic system in Belarus

On January 3, 2021 in Belarus start of a national mail electronic system took place. It as declared in the Belarusian Ministry of Communications and Informatization, allows to send registered and non-registered letters electronically, ensuring safety and confidentiality of correspondence. A system paid also has several restrictions.

It is possible to send documents, photos, images, accounts, notifications, references, statements, etc. The text message should not exceed 30 pages, in the letter it is possible to attach no more than three files up to 10 MB in size. The investment of the following types of files is supported: doc, docx, xls, xlsx, pdf.

Belarus started a national mail electronic system

At receipt of the e-mail the notification on the phone number specified at registration or e-mail arrives. For use of a system it is necessary to create an electronic mailbox and to be authenticated using the certified means of development of the electronic digital signature (SIM-ID, the AvPass USB carrier or the ID card). At registration it is necessary to enter the personal data.

Her creators carry to number of advantages of a system:

  • round-the-clock operation;
  • security and confidentiality;
  • an opportunity to keep track of the status of departure in real time.

Payment for messages is made online: the normal e-mail will cost 42 Belarusian kopeks (12 Russian rubles at the rate of for January 4, 2021), custom — 1.5 rubles (about 43 Russian rubles). It is necessary to pay in addition 42 kopeks for the notification. Printout and packaging of the e-mail in a normal mail envelope is separately paid.

It is supposed that service will facilitate life for legal entities which will be able to send letters directly from office, having been sure that, in case of problems, the court will accept this letter as the proof.[1]
