At the beginning of December, 2020 announced LG Electronics the beginning of cooperation with the Swedish producer of the automated doors for industrial and premises of ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems for joint development of the automated doors with transparent OLED technology. Innovation first of all is focused on business as as an OLED door the greeting of clients, communication with employees and also advertizing demonstration enters.

The new technology combines transparent OLED displays from LG (model 55EW5G) and the integrated system for content management on the basis of the software of SuperSign with automatic glass sliding doors of ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems company.

Due to use of the solution LG WRGB, the self-highlighted pixels of OLED reproduce exact colors with an exclusive brightness and high contrast. The technology of transparency in LG OLED gives to users an opportunity to manage settings depending on type of an input, the premises, lighting. The transparency of new doors allows them "be in harmony with the environment, at the same time providing useful information", and structural efficiency with the tempered glass ensures big durability and safety.

The senior vice president and the head of department of information displays of LG Electronics Business Solutions company Payk Ki-mun noted:

The previous models of big, transparent OLED displays which can be met worldwide prove that such devices are very effective method of interaction, and now we will bring them to absolutely new level.

It is not the first case as in LG show technology with the transparent display. Earlier the company submitted the whole series of transparent signs, in August, 2020 displays of LG began to be used in windows of cars of the subway in Beijing and Shenzhen. Moreover, panels from LG are used in the companies Panasonic and Xiaomi.^[1]
