2020: New SanPiNs for medical services approved in Russia

In early January 2021, new "Sanitary and epidemiological requirements for the operation of premises, buildings, structures, equipment and transport, as well as the conditions for the activities of economic entities engaged in the sale of goods, the performance of work or the provision of services" entered into force in Russia.

As explained in Rospotrebnadzor, the new SanPiNs were developed in accordance with the action plan for the implementation of the "regulatory guillotine" mechanism. The new draft sanitary rules and updating of sanitary and epidemiological requirements aimed at reducing the administrative burden on business are associated with the need for economic entities to fulfill conditions that meet modern requirements.
