Pruffme.com is the Russian online platform for creation and holding webinars, video conferences, dashbord and interactive boards, rates, tests and polls.
2021: Implementation of a virtual avatar
On January 11, 2021 it became known that Pruffme.com, the Internet company from St. Petersburg developing the platform for holding webinars, video conferences and rates offered the tool for online meetings – a virtual avatar. In an image of the character users of service can move on different halls and sections, to carry out group discussions with other participants and to organize online netvorking. For January, 2021 in virtual reality 9 avatars, 7 different zones for movement and communication, 8 online characters who will help to orient with space are provided. The room is uniform for all so far, but by March, 2021 users will have an opportunity to create space under the specific project and even to place advertizing at stands.
As it was explained, this technology is designed to help schools, to the universities and the large companies to resolve an issue of the low level of the involvement of participants at online meetings and also to increase base of clients due to attraction of the business sector who were forced to postpone big conferences and forums to online, having saved the level of interactivity of live actions.
Other important task which faced developers - to make a product available to all. As virtual reality at many is associated with acquisition of the expensive equipment (for example, VR- glasses, a helmet, etc.), it was necessary to create the technology minimizing these costs. Therefore any user who is using computer/notebook, smartphone/tablet and the having access can be connected to the virtual room on Pruffme.com to to the Internet.
By experience of many online courses of 60-85% of pupils give up online study, having hardly begun it, and at online meetings of only 10% of participants listen carefully to the speaker while the others in parallel are distracted by social networks or are engaged in another matters. At the same time in online games the involvement into process always approaches 100% as it is difficult to participants to come off when the character in a game actively interacts with virtual reality. Developers of the platform integrated features of these two directions: online meetings and online games. According to specialists of Pruffme, having transferred serious online actions to virtual reality, it is possible to return that interoperability layer and communication which was in online at the very beginning of transition to remote communication.
Within virtual reality meetings of a different format can be held: school lessons, pairs at the universities, internal meetings in the companies, the presentations of products, training of employees and another. The updated format of interaction and communication in online was already used at the Pruffme conference on marketing and sales, then at the virtual room at the same time there were 154 persons.
More than 1000 participants can be connected in the virtual room at the same time for January, 2021 that allows to hold big conferences and forums in the created reality. In 2020 more than 44 thousand people were creators of webinars, 21 thousand – creators of rates. Users created over 334 thousand webinars and 35 thousand rates, over 304 thousand broadcastings are carried out. Daily over one thousand teachers and trainers place announcements and hold webinars and online broadcastings. In total for January, 2021 on Pruffme service more than 950 thousand people are registered.
