2020: Using Cisco WebEx
Cisco and Syssoft help members of the LisaAlert search and rescue squad stay in touch during the pandemic. This was announced by Syssoft on January 12, 2021.
The LizaAlert search and rescue organization began using the Cisco WebEx platform for remote interaction in the context of the coronavirus pandemic and coordinating the search for missing people. This became part of the Cisco program, in which the company provides Webex to Russian enterprises and organizations on preferential terms.
The LizaAlert squad accepts applications around the clock to search for missing people, without weekends and holidays. Your organization's resources are always limited. The detachment does not accept monetary assistance (this is a principled position), but is ready to accept as a gift equipment that will help search engines in their work. Our team always needs standard search equipment: navigators, lights, but in addition, we need drones, laptops, tablets and specialized software, "said Sergey Chumak, head of the support group of the LizaAlert detachment. |
To find missing people, members of the search squad need to work closely with each other. In addition, the LizaAlert team needs to hold regular training meetings with various specialists, and in the context of quarantine, the Cisco Webex platform helps organize such webinars online.
We are convinced that technology should not only help business, but also fulfill social, important functions for the whole society. When our Cisco partners offered to help us equip search teams with communication tools, we had no doubt - we definitely need to help. In my opinion, for technology companies such initiatives should become more frequent practice, "said Maxim Tikurkin, CEO of Syssoft. |
Issues of remote interaction during the pandemic are especially acute, so we strive to provide Webex to a large number of organizations in Russia, "commented Dmitry Kislitsyn, head of the partner business transformation department, Cisco Russia. "Finding lost people is a mission whose importance cannot be overestimated. It's no exaggeration saving lives. We are proud that together with Syssoft and the search squad 'LizaAlert' we can take part in this mission. |
