2020: Plans of upgrade of IT infrastructure

One of the European banks BNP Paribas selected international internet-provider Orange Business Services for upgrade IT infrastructures and deployments of software-defined global SD-WAN networks. The network will integrate 1.8 thousand bank departments in France. The flexible solution will accelerate digital transformation of bank and will expand possibilities of start of services. Announced this Orange Business Services on January 18, 2021.

The SD-WAN technology (software defined wide area network) allows to administrators remotely to control performance infrastructures to reveal potential danger of an overload and in the mode real time programmatically to change politicians of routing of traffic. Dynamic redistribution of resources of network allows to optimize performance of applications: customer services will work more steadily and reliably.

Having unrolled Flexible SD-WAN from Orange Business Services, BNP Paribas bank will be able to take all advantage of completely protected hybrid network which was designed as cloud multi-user multiservice solution. Thanks to application the optimized and centralized operation and intellectual routings the French offices BNP Paribas will receive additional opportunities on the updated infrastructure.

Experts of Orange Business Services and BNP Paribas jointly developed design of the solution also defined priority of functions which will be are unrolled. Each bank department is going to be connected two independent channels, suppose to unroll all more than 3.6 thousand lines of Internet access. And, upgrade of network will be carried out so that business processes of bank were not interrupted, and on extent of all migration on this infrastructure each department worked trouble-free. Besides, the project assumes implementation firewalls for increase in security.
