Education

Steffen Hoffmann received the bachelor's degree in the field of business management at the University Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany, and then degree of the master and doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.) at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.

Biography

1992-2015

Steffen's career of Hoffmann in Bosch began in 1992 — then he got a job in the company quality of the manager-trainee upon termination of study at the university at once. Since 1993 Hoffman held executive positions in different divisions and the countries, including Germany, Japan, South Africa and Great Britain.

In 2015 he was appointed the president of Bosch of UK, and in six years of its work the annual turnover of the company grew by 1 billion pounds in sterlings. Hoffmann formed the team specializing in the solutions for the Internet of things.

2021: Appointment of Bosch as the head in Russia

On January 19, 2021 Bosch announced Steffen's appointment of Hoffmann new the president of the company in Russia, in Ukraine, Belarus, Central Asia, Mongolia and in the Caucasus. It released Hansjyurgen Overshtolts who headed representation since February, 2016 from this duty.

According to Steffen of Hoffmann, at the region which he should direct, fine long-term perspectives of growth.

Hansjyurgen Overshtolts who worked in Bosch of 25 years retires. During its management in Russia, in Ukraine, in Belarus, Central Asia, Mongolia and in the Caucasus the company continued stable growth in the region, despite macroeconomic difficulties. The company followed the strategy of localization of production and strengthened cooperation with the Russian research and educational organizations in the field of digital technologies and Internet of Things, the press service of Bosch tells.[1]
