2020: Connection to the high-speed satellite Internet

PTKOMM (100% subsidiary of PJSC Rostelecom) connected access to the high-speed satellite Internet to average educational institutions in hardly accessible regions of Gorny of Altai on the basis of the contract with the Ministry of Education and Science of the region. On January 22, 2021 Rostelecom reported about it. Services are provided as a result of the won competition.

Access to the satellite Internet was got by 21 schools in Kosh-Agachsk, Turochaksk, Ust-Kansk, Ust-Koksinsky, Ulagansky, Chemalsky, Choysky and Shebalinsky districts of the subject.
