In Chuvashia will construct the infectious body for 23.7 billion rubles

On January 26, 2021 it became known of the agreement which was signed by the government of Chuvashia and Rostec. It is about construction of the infectious body of Republican clinical hospital. Investments into this project are estimated at 23.7 billion rubles.

The area of new medical institution, as expected, will be 166 thousand sq.m. It will be expected 1300 beds. The concept of the Moscow hospital with maternity hospital in the Communard (the medical center "Novomoskovsky") will be taken as a basis of the project.

The organization of construction of large objects, such as Republican clinical hospital, for a form of concession allows to put them into operation in more short time. It is obvious if we independently build such large object, on its implementation 10 and more years will leave, and due to concession we will be able to make it within 3 years — the head of Chuvashia Oleg Nikolaev noted.

According to him, emergence of such new modern medical objects will allow to increase availability of hi-tech medical care to the population, and the most important – will be a possibility of fast reorientation depending on the changing epidemiological situation. Construction in a form of concession will allow to accelerate project deadlines, he emphasized.

Earlier the head of Chuvashia Russia To Vladimir Putin appealed to the president to support construction in the region of infectious diseases hospital and reconstruction or construction of the new body of republican clinical hospital. According to Nikolaev, the body of organization was constructed in the 1950th years and does not allow to perform the corresponding routing of getting sick. Then he offered the president two options.

The first option is a construction of new republican clinical hospital, then cost of this project more than 24 billion rubles together with the equipment. There is an option of reconstruction of the existing hospital, it too, perhaps, and will allow to provide with the appropriate medical care according to modern standards. It already more than twice is less, about a little more than 11 billion rubles, – he said.[1]
